LaGuardia Airport
LaGuardia is a civil airport with a total area of 680 acres. It is located in East Elmhurst, Queens, New York City.
The Airport is named after Feurello LA Guardia, 99th mayor of New York City.
The Airport mostly deals with domestic flights and airlines.
LaGuardia has terminals Terminal A, B, and C, all connected by buses. There are 72 gates in all three terminals as of now.
The Airport is going through a reconstruction phase which introduces some new changes in the layout for Terminals B and C.
The Airport follows a rule which prohibits any nonstop flight which travels more than 1500 miles on its way.
Transportation To/From Airport
94th Street and LaGuardia Road connect LaGuardia Airport. You can also reach there by subway route through Grand Central Pkwy.
