Syracuse Hancock International Airport is located in Onondaga County, New York. It is a joint civil-military airport operated by the Syracuse Department of Aviation.
The Airport happens to be divided into three towns of Salina, Cicero, and Dewitt, with about half of it within DeWitt.
The Airport covers 2000 acres of area. It has two runways and a terminal.
Till August of 2017, the Airport had 69,087 aircraft operations with an average of 189 per day, of which 30% were air taxis, 29% airline, 11% military, and 30% general aviation.
Even though the Airport runs important military operations, it is primarily a business airport.
How to reach SHI Airport
The Airport is connected by S service road, Brewerton Road, and East Molloy road.
If you’re at the Airport, you can easily get a cab at any of the two taxi stands
located at each end of the terminal.
